Contest Period

The Back to School Giveaway (“Contest”) runs from September 3, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) until September 9, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”).

Eligibility

The Contest is open to residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, owners, representatives, and agents of DF Grinders Canada, as well as their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) and those living in the same household, are not eligible to participate.

How to Enter

To receive one (1) entry, eligible participants must on Instagram:

  1. Follow @dfgrinders.

  2. Like the official Back to School Giveaway post.

  3. Tag one (1) friend in the comments of that post.

Participants may earn up to two (2) additional bonus entries by tagging up to two additional unique friends in separate comments (maximum three (3) entries per Instagram account). Multiple tags in one comment count as a single entry.

Prize

One (1) winner will receive the following:

  • A $100 CAD gift card to a Canadian coffee roaster of the winner’s choice, provided the roaster offers online gift cards for purchase.

  • A Libra Coffee Scale from DF Grinders  

Winner Selection & Notification

A winner will be randomly selected from eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The winner will be announced via a pinned comment on the contest post and tagged there, and will also receive a direct message via Instagram.

To claim the prize, the winner must:

  • Reply to DF Grinders within seven (7) days of being tagged and messaged.

  • Correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance or mechanical aid, as required by Canadian law.

If the winner fails to respond in time, is ineligible, or fails to answer the question correctly, the winner will forfeit the prize, and a new winner will be selected.

General Conditions

  • Entries must be submitted by eligible individuals using valid Instagram accounts. DF Grinders reserves the right to disqualify spam, fraudulent, or non-compliant entries.

  • The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions or cash alternatives will be provided.

  • DF Grinders reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest due to technical issues, fraud, or any other reason, without prior notice.

Privacy

Only Instagram usernames and public interactions will be used to administer the Contest. No other personal information will be collected, stored, or shared beyond what’s necessary for prize fulfillment.

Quebec Residents

Any dispute concerning the organization or conduct of this Contest in Quebec may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for adjudication. Any dispute concerning awarding of the prize may only be submitted to the Régie for settlement purposes.

Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless DF Grinders Canada from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of or in connection with participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of the prize.
