I’m very satisfied with this grinder. The DF54 is a perfect choice for home use. From my experience, I’ve noticed that DF Grinders is a company that truly cares about customer satisfaction.
Its a big improvement from the internal grinder in the Breville Barista Express.
I ordered v3, which has the metal declumper that supposedly fix clogging issue. However, it seems like sub 0.5g of grounds are stuck there after each grind. The bellow alone is not enough to get rid of these stuck grounds. I have to stick in the cleaning brush and give it a tap to discharge those grounds.

Fast and efficient grinder. Excellent adjustable grind level and very limited retention. Also ability to select other flat burrs if desired. Overall - Highly Recommended.
The indicator ring does solve the problem of the non-zero "chirp point" on the printed grind size scare on the DF54, and it also has a slightly more refined look, but I consider it an unnecessary expense. My experience is this: grind size measures relative to the chirp point zero may be good to know, but ultimately I use feedback from the espresso machine in dialling in the grind size changes for a new coffee, not the value of the numbers on the scale. Finally, the real zero on my machine turned out to be +1 on the printed scale - not hard for me to remember if I ever actually need it.
Je l’utilise comme moulin pour mon decaf et je suis pas déçu. Semble vraiment solide. Pas de problème de statique pour le moment
Previous to the DF64 v2, I had a semi commercial grinder. Did an OK job but real problems with retention and also grinding fine enough. It also had a large footprint None of these are problems with the DF64. Highly recommend this for coffee lovers

After using it for few days after I got my grinder, my grinder seem does not function well. After doing research, I realized that my grinder was clogged. After the grinder got cleaning, it works again. Then I know that I need to turn on the grinder before I put in the coffee bean. Now it works great.
Huge improvement over my Breville grinder. The speed is twice as fast, it's quieter, and the grind is more consistent.

The DF54 Grinder is great. I'm having fun dialing it in.
But what I REALLY want to shout about is the most excellent customer service I received from DFGrinders.ca.
They were highly responsive.
They were supremely accomodating to me, arranging for me to pick up my DF54 from "Pirates of Coffee" as short notice, with no fuss.
When i then asked them if they would price match their Black Friday sales price, they just went ahead and did it, no doubt at some inconvenience to themselves, not to mention, the lower margin.
They gave me a "personalized" experience, (when other vendors took forever to respond with incomplete information).
I'd love to go on and on.

These burrs are really helping achieve clarity in espresso I was looking for. A cupping test already yielded quite big difference between stock burrs and other grinders (e.g., Niche Zero). Very happy with this purchase. The multi-purpose are less forgiving to dial in, but are more rewarding once mastered.
Paired the DF64 Grinder with the SSP Unimodal burrs which were also installed and aligned by DF Grinders. The support team were very helpful and responsive for any technical questions I had. The cupping test I conducted between the Niche Zero and this DF64 also yielded very interesting results, with more clarity and nuances that I did not pick up before. Highly recommended to purchase from this distributor and highly recommend this grinder.
Seems more efficient and robust than the existing declumper. Easy to install. Just received it and will soon determine if preferable to the old version.

The grinder cleaner really does work. It removes oily residue from your grinder that will, without removal, cause a choke eventually. I didn’t use 40g of cleaner followed by 100g of coffee as this seemed excessive.
Great point Anthony - we agree! DF Grinders are single dose and extremely low retention so the equivalent amount of cleaner as a single dose of beans (so 18-20 grams of cleaner) will be sufficient for each cleaning. Enjoy!
