Good even grind, build quality is top notch. A little slow but gives you time to do other stuff.
Don't need to RDT, in fact, RDT might cause chute to clog, just make sure you use the bellows to get zero retention. Everything is easy to dismantle to maintain. Actual flavour improvement from last grinder.
Had issues with the first unit, but support was helpful in getting me a shipping label almost immediately and a replacement as soon as possible. The new unit is perfect.

It is still early days, only three weeks since purchase. So far so good. I only prepare espressos so the fine settings are working very well.

I recently purchased the DF54 and after a couple of trials to find the perfect grind for my beans I made the best coffee I have ever made. The caramelly and chocolaty flavours I really like are now more pronounced than ever before. This replaces my big commercial Ascaso grinder so I wasn't using a cheap grinder before. I highly recommend the DF54.

As expected, high quality product. I wish they made the base out of stronger and heavier material, that’s my only complaint
